Summer trail riding in Big South Fork is very cool! The trails are almost all wooded, down along creeks, far from the hot steamy weather of the surrounding areas. The Cumberland Plateau has very pleasant summer weather -- come see for yourself! Don't forget to check out our July and August discount specials.



True West Campground and Stables is a great riding destination
waiting for you and your equine friends to explore. Centrally located
adjacent to the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area,
you can ride directly into the Park in several directions right from camp!

Even if you don't have horses, the Big South Fork area offers many recreational
opportunities. Hiking, fishing, hunting, white water rafting, kayaking, four-wheeling,
and mountain biking. Come stay with us to enjoy these as well!
